Brian has just sent me this funny e-mail, Joe is his little (one year old) boy:

I'm sitting at the computer
Joe is trying to attract my attention
I'm more or less ignoring him
my peripheral vision picks up his outstretched hand
I outstretch my palm
to facilitate the receivement of his proffered gift
I receive the gift
it feels odd
I look at my hand
it is cupping excrement
why did i forget to re-nappy him?
now i must hunt for stray fecal matter
it's a good life
